PinGrab is built on a simple privacy principle: we collect as little as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what we do collect, why, and what your rights are.
Last updated: April 2026.
To operate and improve the Service, we collect a limited amount of non-personal, aggregated information:
We use Google Analytics and Mixpanel to measure how the Service is used in aggregate (page views, button taps, language preference, approximate region). This helps us prioritize bug fixes and feature work. These tools may set their own cookies; both providers anonymize IP addresses for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland by default.
Our hosting provider records standard server logs — IP address, user-agent, timestamp, requested URL — for security and rate-limiting purposes. Logs are retained for a short rolling window and are not joined with any personal identifier.
We use a small number of cookies:
NEXT_LOCALE) — remembers your selected interface language so you don't have to pick it again. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
The PinGrab Chrome extension and iOS app follow the same minimal-collection principle. The extension only requests the permissions necessary to read the active Pinterest tab when you click the extension icon — it does not run in the background, does not collect browsing history, and does not transmit page content to PinGrab servers. The iOS app uses Apple's standard analytics opt-in; if you decline, no analytics events are sent.
If you use the PinGrab Telegram bot, the only data we receive is what Telegram exposes to bots: your Telegram user ID and the message you send. We do not store this data after the response is delivered. Telegram's own privacy policy applies to your messages on their platform.
The Service may include links or fetches to:
These services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
The Service is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
Because we do not maintain user accounts and do not store personal identifiers, there is generally no per-user record of you to access, correct, or delete. If you believe we hold any personal data about you and wish to exercise rights under the GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or similar laws — including the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict processing, or object to processing — email privacy@pingrab.app and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
Our infrastructure and our analytics providers are based in the United States. By using the Service from outside the US, you understand that your activity may be processed on US servers, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We use standard security practices — HTTPS for all traffic, defense-in-depth on our servers, and the principle of least privilege for any internal access. No system is perfectly secure; if you discover a vulnerability, please contact security@pingrab.app so we can investigate.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or via a banner where appropriate.
